Bill has a been a member of the Irvine team since 2004. He is a licensed physical
therapist. Bill is experienced in physical therapy for spinal cord injury, various orthopedic
conditions, in-patient stroke, geriatric and traumatic brain injury. He has also worked an
instructor of Wayne State University's physical therapy program.
Bill earned a Masters of Physical Therapy Degree from Wayne State University, a Bachelors in Science Degree in Biology from the University of Texas and a Bachelors of Science Degree in Allied Health from Wayne State University.
Bill is a member of the Michigan Physical Therapy Association and the American Physical Therapy Association
Amy joined the Irvine team in March, 2010. She is been an Occupational Therapist
since 2003. She specializes in neuro rehab, specifically neuro impairments, inpatient
care, orthopedic injuries, neuro developmental treatment, splint fabrication and
Amy earned her Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy from Baker's College. She is also a member of the American Occupational Therapy Association.
Sandra is a registered nurse, experienced in patient
care since 2004. Her experience includes coordinating and assessing patient care
activities, collaboration with physicians and other healthcare providers throughout the
nursing process. She has worked in various departments throughout her career
including the emergency room, oncology, cardiology, surgery, physical rehabilitation,
and managed care.
Sandra earned her Bachelors of Science in Nursing from Wayne State University.
Regina is a certified speech pathologist. She
specializes in a variety of neurogenic communication disorders and dysphagia
management. She has extensive experience with traumatic brain injury patients for
specialty populations such as TBI with cognitive retraining, head and neck cancer,
trachea/vent and craniofacial anomalies. She has clinical experience in videofluroscopy/
modified barium studies and voice instrumentation.
Regina earned her Masters of Education degree in Speech Language Pathology from Tennessee State University and a Bachelors of Arts in English from Fisk University.
Dr. Theodore Ruza is a clinical psychiatrist. He is
certified and licensed by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. Dr. Ruza
graduated from University of Osteopathic Medicine and Health Services in Des Moines,
Iowa. He earned his Bachelors of Science in History from Oakland University in
Dr. Ruza is a member of Phi Sigma Gamma, the American Osteopathic Association, the American Medical Association, the American Psychiatric Association, the Michigan Psychiatric Society and the Michigan Association of Osteopathic Physicians and Surgeons. Dr. Ruza is also, Chief of Staff at Botsford General Hospital.
Karen Dawson manages the Irvine Case
Management program . She oversees and manages the process of treatment for all
Irvine patients to ensure that the most appropriate medical and rehabilitation care is
provided. In her role for more than 20 years, she has served as the liaison between the
patients and healthcare providers. She coordinates medical treatment between Irvine,
the insurance companies and area healthcare systems. Karen is a patient advocate and
manages each patients case with considerable care and efficiency, ultimately resulting
in advancement of the neuro rehabilitation process.

Dr. Antoine Geffrard (MD, PMR) - Dr. Geffrard joined the Irvine team in ----. He is an certified and experienced Phsyiatrist. He is licensed by the State of Michigan and Board Certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. Dr. Geffrard graduated from Michigan State University School of Medicine in Lansing, Michigan. He earned is Bachelors of Arts from Wayne State University. Dr. Geffrard is a member of the American Medical Association, American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Wayne County Medical Society, Michigan State Medical Society and the Detroit Medical Society.
